The above Cancellation Penalties, while well within industry standards, are significant.  For this reason we strongly urge you to purchase Travel Insurance, including Trip Cancellation Coverage, a standard benefit offered with most Travel Insurance Comprehensive Plans. Most Travel Insurance benefits include reimbursement of all your pre-paid, non-refundable expenses should you need to cancel your trip unexpectedly.  Please be aware, however, that all Trip Cancellation insurances do not cover every reason for cancellation. You are solely responsible for obtaining such insurance and for understanding the scope of coverage, if any. A source for coverage is presented above.

*  The higher fees apply to major holiday periods, i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, Holy Week, Spring Break, etc., customized tours and to tour utilizing suppliers of unique services.
